Casey Stoner happy with new Indianapolis track
Aug.25 - Repsol Honda rider Casey Stoner is pleased that Indianapolis has been given a new track ahead of this weekend’s MotoGP race at the Speedway. 2007 World Champion, heads reigning title holder Jorge Lorenzo by 32 points with seven races to go.
“In the past seasons the track at Indy has been extremely bumpy and also slightly dangerous, so I'm looking forward to going there and riding the new surface,” the Honda rider said on Tuesday. It will also be nice to ride the Honda there, as it took a lot of work to get the setup right on the Ducati at such a peculiar circuit.
“I've only ridden the circuit in 2008 and 2010 and we were pretty competitive there last year, but then I lost the front in the race, so it will be good to get there, test the new surface and get to work on the setup.”

I’ve been looking forward for Indianapolis - Ben Spies
Aug.23 - Last year performance at Indianapolis MotoGP Ben Spies set his first career pole position
And he was finish second to Dani Pedrosa in s race.
“I’m really hoping to be completely fit for this weekend,” says the 27-year-old. “I’ve still got some numbness in the arm but it is better than it was at Brno. We’ve been working hard to get it right and we will of course give it 100 percent as always. I’ve been looking forward to this race all year; it was pretty crazy last year as a rookie to take pole and a second in the race. We’re going to put on a good show for all the home fans and see what we can do.”

I really don't think I'll be going to Japan - Rossi
Aug.21 - The Ducati rider Valentino Rossi has cast qualm over journey to Motegi in October, clearing up that he does not hopeful to challenge the Japanese GP.
Moto racing drivers says that, their worry over radiation stage following the Fukushima plant was damaged during March’s earthquake and tsunami, but a report by Italian agency ARPA declared the area as safe.
"I really don't think I'll be going to Japan," Ducati's Rossi is quoted as saying by Italian newspaper La Repubblica. "We are all scared; myself, my friends and the team. The idea of racing in Japan doesn't seem sensible to me. Until today I've kept a low profile about it in the hope that the people at the top of MotoGP would make the right decision, but it didn't happen. Even if the ARPA results on Motegi are correct, there's still an unsafe nuclear plant less than 100-km (62.1-mi) away and a violent earthquake per week in the area.
"I understand people who go to Japan for humanitarian reasons, but for a motorcycle race no, I can't accept that. At this point, with this emergency, we could race on a different circuit further away. It's useless to talk about insurance. What do I need insurance for if I get ill or end up living a nightmare for 40 years? I don't care what the others think, whether they're going there or not. I want, in fact I must be able, to decide completely by myself. I imagine we'll have to say yes or no by Misano."

“I realised the 1000cc bike was incredible when I saw the power on the straight. I like this bike a lot and I wanted to have more laps but I have to still think about this season! I have been just one hour with our future bike! I can say that the next MotoGP season will be amazing, much more power, you go out of the corners sliding; I can't wait!" he added.
